กงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น ณ นครเชียงใหม่ เข้าพบนายอัศนี บูรณุปกรณ์ นายกเทศมนตรีนครเชียงใหม่

วันจันทร์ที่ 21 มิถุนายน 2564 เวลา 14.00 น. ณ ห้องรับรอง ชั้น 4 อาคาร 5 สำนักงานเทศบาลนครเชียงใหม่นายฮิโรชิ มัตสึโมโตะ กงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น ณ นครเชียงใหม่ ได้เข้าพบนายอัศนี บูรณุปกรณ์ นายกเทศมนตรีนครเชียงใหม่ เพื่อแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสได้รับการเลือกตั้งและเข้ารับตำแหน่งนายกเทศมนตรีนครเชียงใหม่ โดยในการนี้ นางนุสรา ยันตรโกวิท ปลัดเทศบาลนครเชียงใหม่ และนายเมธิศ วุฒิฉายานันท์ เลขานุการนายกเทศมนตรีฯ ได้ร่วมให้การต้อนรับกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และผู้ติดตามด้วย

ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น ณ นครเชียงใหม่ และนายกเทศมนตรีนครเชียงใหม่ ได้สนทนาแลกเปลี่ยนในประเด็นเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างกันในด้านต่างๆ พร้อมทั้งได้แสดงออกถึงความมุ่งหวังให้สถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรค COVID-19 กลับเข้าสู่สภาวะปกติในเร็ววัน นอกจากนี้แล้ว กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยังได้กล่าวถึงความประสงค์ที่จะเข้าร่วมงานเทศกาลยี่เป็งและเทศกาลสำคัญอื่นๆ ของเมืองเชียงใหม่ และได้แสดงความสนใจในแนวนโยบายสำคัญต่างๆ ในการบริหารจัดการเมืองเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งนายกเทศมนตรี ก็ได้กล่าวถึงการดำเนินการสำรวจความต้องการฉีดวัคซีนโควิด-19 ของชาวเชียงใหม่ การสร้างเมืองเชียงใหม่ให้น่าอยู่และน่าเที่ยว สำหรับทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวและผู้คนพื้นถิ่น รวมทั้งการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนชาวเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งนับเป็นประเด็นหลักที่นายกเทศมนตรีให้ความสำคัญเป็นอันดับต้นๆ ทั้งนี้ นายกเทศมนตรีนครเชียงใหม่รู้สึกยินดีและพร้อมที่จะให้ความร่วมมือกับสถานกงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น ณ นครเชียงใหม่ในอนาคตต่อไปด้วย

Mr. Hiroshi Matsumoto, Consul General of Japan in Chiang Mai paid a visit to Mr.Assanee Buranupakorn, Mayor of Chiang Mai Municipality to extend his congratulations on being elected Mayor of Chiang Mai Municipality. In this regard, Mrs. Nusara Yantarakovit, Municipal Clerk, and Mr.Metit Wutthichayanunt, Secretary to the Mayor jointly welcomed the Consul General of Japan in Chiang Mai and his delegation.

During the meeting, the Consul General of Japan in Chiang Mai and Mayor of Chiang Mai Municipality exchanged discussions about the relationship and mutual cooperation between the Consulate General of Japan in Chiang Mai and the Chiang Mai Municipality. Both sides hoped that the pandemic of COVID-19 would resume to normal situation soon. The Consul General expressed his intention to participate the Yee Peng Festival and other important festivals in Chiang Mai. Moreover, the Consul General was interested in the policy priority for municipality’s administration. In this connection, the Mayor said that the survey for COVID-19 vaccination of Chiang Mai people, the creation of Chiang Mai City as a livable and attractive city for tourists as well as improvement of quality of lives of people were his most concerned. The Mayor was pleased and ready to support and work closely with the Consulate of Japan in Chiang Mai in the future.
