ผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอังกฤษ กรุงเทพ เยี่ยมชม ม.แม่โจ้ เตรียมหารือแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนา-ร่วมลงทุน ในอนาคต

วันศุกร์ที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2563 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา และผู้บริหารของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ ให้การต้อนรับ Mr. Mark Smithson, Deputy Director of Department for International Trade (DIT) และ Ms. Muanfan Roengwiriya, Trade Manager Agri-Tech of Department for International Trade (DIT) คณะผู้แทนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอังกฤษ กรุงเทพ (British Embassy Bangkok) ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนมหาวิทยาแม่โจ้ ณ ห้องประชุมพวงแสด ชั้น 2 อาคารสำนักงานมหาวิทยาลัย

ในครั้งนี้ คณะผู้แทนฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมการทำเกษตรแนวตั้ง (Vertical Farming) และการทำเกษตรแบบเกษตรอัจฉริยะ (Smart Farm) ของมหาวิทยาลัย โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สิริวัฒน์ สาครวาสี อาจารย์จากคณะผลิตกรรมการเกษตร และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. โชติพงศ์ กาญจนประโชติ อาจารย์จากคณะวิศวกรรมและอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร เป็นวิทยากรบรรยาย ซึ่งจากการเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้ ทางคณะผู้แทนฯ จะนัดหมายบริษัทของอังกฤษที่ทางสถานทูตประสานงานไว้ เพื่อหารือในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาหรือร่วมลงทุนต่อไปในอนาคต

On December 4th, 2020, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University together with the administrators of the university warmly welcomed representatives from British Embassy Bangkok, Mr. Mark Smithson, Deputy Director of Department for International Trade (DIT) and Ms. Muanfan Roengwiriya, Trade Manager Agri-Tech of Department for International Trade (DIT), at the Puangsaed Meeting Room, Office of the University.

On this occasion, the representatives visited the Vertical Farming and Smart Farm Learning Center with Assistant Professor Dr. Siriwat Sakhonwasee, a lecturer from the Faculty of Agricultural Production and Assistant Professor Dr. Choatpong Kanjanaphachoat, a lecturer from the Faculty of Engineering and Agro-Industry.
